BEGINNERS PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING FACTS ABOUT SUMMER SEASON.
Summer season is very tricky in terms of ordering chicks, growth in birds and marketing, as beginner expect the following facts in general.

DEMAND: This is the main play factor in summer with high marketing impact.
β QUALITY CHICKS: There is always high demand of quality chicks, due to growing birds in hot season it's easy and less cost, due to favorable temperature in brooding time,less use of charcoal and charcoal becomes more cheeper.
> One can do other businesses while managing birds, this lead in increase of people keeping birds.
β LOW MARKET DEMAND: Due to high production, marketing becomes a challenge.
> Most of restaurant owners start keeping birds, now the situation becomes like, the buyers starts supplying themselves including selling at the market.
> The market becomes more saturated with low selling rate which lead to infatuating of prices.
β
MORTALITIES: Every season dying of birds is influenced by it's nature. In summer Mortalities are based on:
β HIGH TEMPERATURE: When is hot birds fats melts and enters the blood streams and pumped to the heart and cause heart attack,this lead to dying of birds.
> The only way to regulate temperature is by provide enough ventilation.
>make sure the poultry house have big and wide windows, open them all when temperature is high.
> Reduce stocking density to 10 birds per square and introduce a fan in rooms were air flow is poor.
> The hotter the day the warmer the drinking water, introduce ice cubes if you have a fridge.
β DISEASES: Most common diseases are respiratory diseases caused by type of beddings used as birds try to play with it due to hotness and they release more dust.
> Always Consider budgeting for flu ban, tylodoxy and ashoxy 50% or use the natural remedy of cinnamon, ginger and garlic.

GROWTH: The growing of birds is also affected due to:
β During the day birds consumes more water than feed as a result growth because a bit slow.
> Make sure you do not switch off the lights at night, temperature becomes more favorable at night, make sure you provide more feed.
β Growth poses when they are affected by respiratory diseases if not responded to in time.they lead to
- Loss of appetite
- eyes closing.
- Swollen heads
β BREEDS: In certain breeds you'll experience stunt growth and high growth difference.
> It's this time of the year, make sure you know the breed to go for.
β
TRANSPORTATION: This is one of the most dangerous factor in summer in both day old are mature birds.
β DAY OLD: Make you collect your day old chicks easy in the morning before it's hot to avoid mortalities from to much heat.
β MATURE BIRDS: Make you transport baulk numbers in the mornings,as it's gets hot do not congest them when carrying capacity is full.
> If congested high Mortalities maybe recorded.
> Make sure you cover them from direct sun upon transporting them.
