It is with heavy hearts that we share some important news. 💛
After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to officially close the doors of the Cheese Deli & Eatery at Swallowfield Lifestyle Estate, with our final day of trading being Sunday, 30 August.
This has not been an easy decision. Following a recent health scare, Louis has taken some time to take stock of life and recognise the need to slow down, refocus and spend more time on what matters most- his health, his family, and the heart of Macedonia Cheese Co.: making exceptional cheese. 🧀
Cheesemaking has always been at the very core of what we do. This next chapter will allow Louis to return his focus to his purpose and passion: creating the very best quality cheese while finding a little more balance along the way.
While we may be saying goodbye to the Eatery, this is certainly not goodbye to Macedonia Cheese Co. Our Cheese Shop at Berg Air will continue, and we have some exciting plans for what lies ahead. We hope you’ll continue to support us as we step into this next chapter.
Before we close, we’ll also be hosting one final Supper Club next week- a special evening to celebrate the memories, meals and people who have made this journey so meaningful. More details will follow soon.
