Greetings everyone 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟

Ok ...so its Precious Precious that's the camera operator whilst I make the dosai.😁😁😁

This is Priya on behalf of everyone at Indian Origin 🔱🛐🙏🛐🌶️

The idlis are a winner; made from white rice and lentils, we make a fabulous steamed rice cake that's soft and fluffy.

We also make a sweet version.🙆🆘. Just add butter & Jam to be really decadent 😆😆

BUT ‼️‼️‼️‼️

After many, many attempts.......we got DOSAI

We have been making dosai for. Few weeks now without a fancy black flat grill top😲🤔AND we are making crispy masala dosai.

Our customers that are GLUTEN intolerant have been enjoying these crispy dosai ( made & eaten whilst you wait) and served with 2 chutneys.

I do need more practise to be proficient like the millions of you tube videos I have been watching 😯😯

Mum has the been the most inspiration (probably because she has eaten the most dosai & idli on visits to India🫡); guiding me about texture and cooking time.

The long and short of it.......you can eat a crispy dosai at Indian Origin 🔱🌻💯🛐

Anyway, Mum made *payasam* today. It's the Durban Indian community version of *Sago Pudding* only we add vermicelli & cardamom, oodles of cream, milk & sugar 😑💯😑💯😑

*You eat this dessert with crispy fried rice pappadums*

Imagine scooping up some payasam with a piece of crunchy pappadum & then have this almost savoury crunch with the sweet pudding 🤫🤫🙇‍♂️🤷‍♂️💟💟💟
