🥪 DIRTY SKILLET BEER CHEESE STEAK SANDWICH
Juicy sliced steak
Loaded beer cheese sauce
Caramelised onions

🛒 Ingredients
400g sirloin or ribeye (thinly sliced)
Salt & black pepper
1 tbsp oil
1 onion (sliced)
1 hoagie roll / fresh bread roll
Butter (for toasting)

🧀 Beer Cheese Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
½ cup beer (lager works best)
1 cup grated cheddar
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste

👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the beer cheese
Melt butter in a pan.
Add flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in milk, then beer.
Simmer until slightly thick.
Add cheese, garlic powder, salt.
Stir until smooth, creamy, and loaded.

2️⃣ Cook the onions
In the same pan, cook sliced onions low and slow until caramelised.
Set aside.

3️⃣ Cook the steak
Heat skillet until hot.
Add oil, then steak.
Season with salt & pepper.
Cook fast — about 1–2 minutes (don’t overcook).

4️⃣ Toast the roll
Butter and toast until golden.

5️⃣ Build it dirty
Bottom roll
Steak
Caramelised onions
Heavy pour of beer cheese
Top roll
(Optional: extra cheese drizzle on top 😏)
