We are open today and tomorrow and then closed for the Easter weekend so if you need a quiet spot to catch up on some work or want a delicious breakfast and a perfectly brewed coffee, come and see Precious and Thabiso - they will be delighted to see you!

School Holiday Trading Hours:
7am-2pm.
Closed Thursday 2.4 to Monday 6.4 inclusive.

There’s been a lot of talk about waffles recently but the Orange Tree team is still here serving up toasties, all day breakfast, sweet treats and of course Thabiso’s famous coffee! Don’t forget we have free WiFi and laptop charging points too if you need a ‘work from home’ change of scenery!

The rumours are true, after 2 years, this weekend we are hanging up our frying pans and leaving To thank you for all your support we are running a special on our famous fancy bacon & egg or hallloumi & avo rolls. They will be R50 each all weekend so come down and see Thabiso, Precious and Zar as they make your final weekend coffee, breakfast and pancakes at the market.

We’re back! Happy New Year to you all! We hope you had a wonderful festive season and are ready to take on 2025.
The Orange Tree Umhlali is open from 7am-2.30pm this week. From Wednesday 15th we are back to our normal hours of 6am-4pm.
Our new menu will launch next week - we have some delicious new food items to tempt you with as well as a new drinks menu with more of your favourite frappes as well as a new iced drink that the kids are going to love as an after school treat!
Good luck with the preparations for back to school - we’re here for that pre or post-drop-off coffee, bring your laptop and enjoy a peaceful setting, coffee and food on tap and free WiFi!
