Meet Tequila, our very special Macaw parrot and one of Barrel & Blues’ biggest attractions! 🥰

Tequila is not just a parrot… he is my pet, my little companion, and a very special part of our Barrel & Blues family. ❤️ He has such a big heart and gives so much love to everyone around him.

🎸 Music is in his soul! 🎶
Tequila absolutely loves bands and live performances. He will sit and watch every show, enjoying the music and all the action around him. 🤘🎤

And did you know… Tequila has even appeared in one of Anton Goosen’s music videos! 🎶🦜 How cool is that?

Our customers who have a soft spot for animals can simply never get enough of him. ❤️ They take endless photos and videos of Tequila, and honestly, he seems to love every second of the attention! 📸😂

But what makes Tequila truly special is his love for people. He adores our customers and our staff, and he has become such a loved and unforgettable part of the Barrel & Blues experience.

Today we are shining the spotlight on one very special lady at Barrel and Blues — Maria! 🌟

Maria has a heart of gold and is always ready to lend a helping hand. Our customers absolutely love her because she gives every single person who walks through our doors so much attention, love and care. ❤️

There is always a friendly conversation waiting when Maria is around! 😄 She has a special way of making people feel welcome, remembered and appreciated. Her customers often become friends — and before long, they become like family to her. 🥰

Maria has been part of our journey for an incredible 7 years. She started with us at Lilly’s Restaurant, and when Lilly’s and Barrel and Blues joined together as one business in 2020, Maria stayed on and became an important part of the Barrel and Blues family. 🍻🎸

She is always smiling, always caring and always willing to go the extra mile for our customers and her team. That is what makes Maria so special. ❤️
