EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL COOKS WANTED: AT MUSTANG DINER!

Mustang Diner is hiring 3 experienced, fast-paced Temporary Kitchen Staff and 1 Cashier
for the upcoming 6-day NAMPO Cape contract in Bredasdorp (7 - 12 September).

We run a speed kitchen. We are NOT looking for helpers or amateurs.

We are strictly hiring professional, hardworking individuals who have previously worked inside
busy restaurants, takeaway shops, or commercial food trucks AS THE MAIN COOK.

AVAILABLE ROLES:

1. COMMERCIAL FRY MASTER (Must have experience running high-volume gas deep fryers, managing large potato volumes, temperature control, and working with wet batters).

2. HOT-LINE ASSEMBLER & TOASTER (Must have experience operating commercial griddles, portioning rice/curries quickly under pressure, and fast packaging assembly).

3. POTATO PREP & KITCHEN RUNNER (High-stamina role handling bulk vegetable prep and drink logistics).

4. SPEED CASHIER (Stays 100% focused on taking money, card machine transactions,
and pumping order slips back to the kitchen crew).

⚠️ THE MUSTANG DINER RULES &SELECTION PROCESS:

• You will be required to provide a contactable reference from a previous restaurant,
takeaway shop, or catering owner verifying your cooking employment history.

• ZERO FAKING: Every shortlisted candidate will undergo a mandatory, live 15-minute
"Practical Kitchen Audition" on a gas burner before a contract is signed. If you
cannot handle commercial utensils, manage oil temperature, or wrap a product
perfectly at speed, you will be dismissed immediately.
• Clean habits, total sobriety, high energy, and extreme reliability are non-negotiable.

REMUNERATION: Highly competitive daily cash/EFT rates paid immediately upon successful completion of the 6-day cycle. Meals provided on shift.

A fresh addition at Mustang diner on the Go.

Starting tomorrow, we will feature our signature Mustang Waffles and our innovative waffle pie for R50.

Our standard waffle will include a ice cream top . We have a selection of toppings, with an additional charge per topping. Our waffle pies present you with 4 sections filled with vanilla or strawberry ice cream, according to your preference. Design your individualized waffle pie section with our sweet toppings to pick from for both pies.

For clarification... a waffle comprises 4 sections, therefore making 2 waffle pies. Each pie contains 2 sections with ice cream in between, accompanied by your preferred toppings selections for an additional expense. You have the option to customize your toppings on each pie.
