Unfortunately, Bakkies se Melkkos will not be at the Southey's Thrift & Second Hand Market this Saturday, 19 September 2026.

We are sorry to miss another market and, most of all, our wonderful customers! We truly appreciate every familiar face, every warm bowl enjoyed, and all the beautiful stories and memories shared with us around our stall. 🍲❤️

But don’t worry, your melkkos fix is still available! 😋

❄️ Frozen portions of Bakkies se Melkkos are available DAILY at GB Gas and Ice in Gordon’s Bay.

So if you’re craving some melkkos this weekend, pop in and stock up for home. Bring it back to your own table, gather your loved ones, and create some more memories together. 🤍

This weekend, the **Bakkies se Melkkos team** is taking a little time to build some of our own special memories. ✨

It’s our **wedding anniversary**, and after all the wonderful memories we’ve shared with our customers around steaming bowls of melkkos, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the journey we’ve shared together. ❤️

Unfortunately, this means we **won’t be at the Southey's Thrift & Second Hand Market this Saturday, 5 September 2026**.

We hope you understand that sometimes you need to pause, celebrate the people beside you, and make a few memories of your own. 🥂🌸

After a long little break, we are so excited to be back at Southey's Thrift and Second Hand Market tomorrow morning, Saturday, 16 May 2026 from 8am!

The steaming pots of melkkos will be ready to warm your hands and hearts while you roam through the market stalls and enjoy what promises to be a beautiful morning. 🌿✨

The break made us realize just how much we missed our wonderful customers, the familiar faces, the laughter, and especially all the beautiful memory stories shared around our stall. 🤍
