When you hear the engines rolling into Steytlerville, there’s a good chance another Royal story is about to begin. 😉

Over time, the WAVOLT Adventures group has become more than visitors to The Royal. They have returned, supported us, brought great company and added more than a few memorable chapters to our story.

And after a day spent on the open road, there’s only one thing left to do…
Park the bikes, pull up a chair and enjoy a True Karoo Supper, as only The Royal’s kitchen can prepare. 🍽️

Because some of the best stories from a road trip aren't only made on the road.

We have been telling you that something special is coming to The Royal garden this October.

Now we can finally introduce some of the names that will be part of it. 👀🍷

The confirmed producers joining us for Karoo & Kork 2026 are:

On 23 & 24 October, our garden will become a meeting place for wine, food, local products, good conversation and true Karoo hospitality.

And for the first time, Karoo & Kork will be hosted right here at The Royal Steytlerville.

One Royal garden.
And a whole lot of glasses waiting to be filled. 😉🍷

🏆 TWO PROPERTIES. TWO LEKKE AWARDS. ONE VERY PROUD TEAM!

We are incredibly proud to share that both The Royal Steytlerville and Sonop, Steytlerville have received a 2026 Lekke Award from LekkeSlaap.

These awards recognise excellent guest feedback and consistent hosting excellence and that is what makes them so special to us.
The Royal has been Lekke since 2015.
Sonop has been Lekke since 2025.

And today, we get to celebrate them together. 🏆🏆
