✨ First Thursdays at Republique ✨

Join us on Thursday, 5 February from 5pm for an evening where music and art meet.

Live music by Thelma Bernice — a singer-songwriter whose work is joyful, honest, and deeply personal. Her songs carry stories of freedom, faith, and returning to what is true, including her latest release “Draai Na Die Hemel.”

Alongside the music, we’re showcasing work by Nancy Lambrechts, a Stellenbosch-based, self-taught artist. Nancy paints the familiar and the quietly beautiful — local landscapes, paths well-walked, moments observed with pencil in hand while wandering the mountains above town. Her impressionistic style, bold colour, and expressive mark-making invite recognition and memory: I’ve been there. I know this place.

Luc recently closed his own coffee bar here in Stellies. Now, he’s stepped into a new chapter with us here at Republique, and we’re honoured to have him on the team.

A Stellenbosch local, born and bred, Luc brings not only skill and experience, but a deep connection to our town and its people.

We’re only CLOSED on 25 & 26 December and 1 January 2026.

Republique Two-Year Blend ☕✨

Our Two-Year Blend is finally here. A celebration cup for the journey we’ve walked together. This year’s mix brings together the best of East Africa: a bright, floral Rwanda paired with the rich, velvety depth of Uganda.

Expect notes of mixed berries, blood orange, and wafer biscuit, finishing with a silky sweetness that feels like warm summer on the streets of Stellenbosch.
