This Heritage Weekend, VUUR comes to the city. Chef Shaun Scrooby joins Executive Chef Wesli Jacobs at Heirloom, Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel for a four-hands collaboration, two chefs, two ways of telling a South African story, one table.

Malaika introduces one of our newest desserts.

A decadent sweet creation that isn’t overly sweet — balancing dark chocolate, bright citrus, a touch of salinity, and rich rendered beef fat. Yes, beef fat.

At VUUR, we love exploring the space where fire, meat, and dessert meet. This latest dish is brought to life using the flambadou, allowing us to add layers of caramelisation, smoke, and richness in a way that only fire can.
