Vendetta’s Pizzeria Sourdough Neapolitan pizza & fairy-lit courtyard dining in the heart of Stellenbosch.

Vendetta’s Pizzeria brings authentic Neapolitan-style pizza to Stellenbosch, served in a cozy, fairy-lit courtyard. Our dough is made in-house with Italian ‘00’ flour and fermented for up to 48 hours before being fired in a traditional wood oven — resulting in light, flavourful pizzas with the perfect char. With its intimate atmosphere, great music, and warm service, Vendetta’s is a Stellenbosch favourite for date nights, casual dinners, and gatherings under the lights.

This Heritage Month, we’re looking back at the place that started it all — the original Vendettas, a few years (and a lot of pizzas) ago.

At Vendettas, we stay true to the heart of Neapolitan pizza while doing things a little differently.

Our dough is naturally fermented using sourdough starter, creating a light, airy crust with the signature leopard spotting you'd expect. The longer fermentation process doesn't just build flavour—it also helps break down the dough, making it easier to digest and giving every pizza its distinctive texture.

It's not the traditional route, but it's the one we believe makes a better pizza.
