The Millhouse Kitchen Situated on Lourensford Estate, we are a Winelands restaurant serving seasonally inspired menus.

Situated on the beautiful Lourensford Wine Estate at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains in Somerset West, The Millhouse Kitchen offers a beautiful venue to enjoy a meal or celebrate a special event. Owner Rob Smailes and Chef Gustaaf Boshoff's aim is to create a neighbourhood feel where guests can relax while enjoying a meal together. Our menus are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and children are always welcome.

Join us on 1 October for an exceptional evening of Cap Classique at Lourensford.

Taste your way through 10 vintages, presented by Cellarmaster Hannes Nel — a celebration of time, craftsmanship and the art of Méthode Cap Classique.

With recent accolades adding to the occasion, including Cuvée 117 being awarded the Michelangelo Cap Classique Trophy and our Brut Blanc 2020 receiving Double Gold, there is much to raise a glass to.

After the tasting, linger a little longer as we celebrate the season with a harvest table under the stars — oysters to start, a long table to share, and seasonal fruit pavlova to close. Full menu in the images.
