🌅🏆 COMPETITION UPDATE — GRAND FINAL
First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who entered, voted and followed our Corona Sunrise & Sunset Photography Competition. ❤️
We have completed the final verification process of our Grand Final entries, and unfortunately, we need to make an important update to the result.
As stated in our competition terms, all submitted photographs must be original photographs taken by the entrant.
During our verification process, the photograph that received the most votes was found to appear to be a previously published photograph by another social media entity, and the entrant was therefore asked to provide the original image for verification.
Following this process, the entry was found not to meet the competition's originality requirements and has been disqualified.
We understand that this may be disappointing or confusing, particularly for those who voted, but our competition rules apply equally to every entrant. A high number of votes cannot make an entry eligible if it does not meet the stated entry requirements.
We are now applying the competition rules to determine the highest-voted eligible Grand Final entry, and that result will be announced shortly.
Thank you for your patience and, most importantly, thank you to everyone who shared their own genuine Garden Route sunrise and sunset moments with us. 🌅❤️
