This week, meet Sam, one of the friendly faces at Camel Rock, who has been part of our team for 4 months!

Creamy mussels!

What do you love about Camel Rock?
Meeting new people, networking with like-minded individuals and connecting with people from different cultures.

Fun fact?
Sam grows and raises around 80% of the food she and her son eat! We love a little homegrown goodness.

What are you known for?
Being the lady with the red lips and beautiful smile! A face that's hard to forget.

What would you be doing if you weren’t at Camel Rock?
Running her own plant nursery! A lovely way to turn her love of growing things into something of her own.

Meeting different people from all over the world and getting to connect with people from different cultures.

Fun fact?
Priscilla is ever-smiling, enthusiastic and has a dash of wild personality! She loves learning new languages and is the only person at the Rock who can speak approximately 15 languages fluently! How amazing is that?

What are you known for?
Her infectious smile, enthusiastic personality and ability to make people feel welcome — no matter where in the world they come from!

What would you be doing if you weren’t at Camel Rock?
Priscilla would be pursuing her dream of becoming an actress! Perhaps we have a future movie star in our midst!

This week, meet Gerry Rothquel, one of the newest faces in the Camel Rock family! Gerry has been part of our team for approximately 3 months as a waitress.

Our triple-fried, hand-cut chips! You can’t go wrong with a classic favourite!

What do you love about Camel Rock?
“I just love the social interaction at the Rock. It feels like family.”

Fun fact?
Gerry describes herself as an extrovert, introvert — a little bit of both!

What are you known for?
Being the bouncy chick with a killer laugh and fantastic service! Gerry certainly knows how to bring energy and laughter to the floor.

What would you be doing if you weren’t at Camel Rock?
Owning a farm to provide a home for homeless animals from all the townships. What a beautiful dream!

We’ve got a wonderful Sunday planned for our village! Come along, enjoy the market, soak up the atmosphere, support our local vendors, and enjoy a day of community, music, and connection.
