Weskusplek is a holiday and conferencing resort, uniquely situated on a narrow peninsula between the secluded Jacobsbaai bay on the one side and the expansive white-sand beach of Hospital Bay on the other side. Positioned on the high-tide mark, the 80-seater restaurant offers its guests marvelous views of Jacobsbaai. The menu is designed to accentuate the hidden treasures of the West Coast in a perfect blend of home-cooking and the finest of gourmet cuisine. The wine list is nothing but an honest tribute to the cellar masters of the district, presenting only four and five star wines at affordable prices. The stone-built conference hall of the Weskusplek can seat up to 50 delegates schoolroom style or 70 delegates cinema style for workshops, team-building sessions, planning meetings and staff training. It is fully equipped with a sound system, projector, screen, flip-chart stands. It, however, poses an exceptional challenge to the presenter as delegates are likely to be focused more on the breath-taking views than what’s on offer on the white board. When the occasion calls for it, this facility is converted into a quaint chapel - for a romantic wedding or a divine christening. The over-night cottages are well furnished and equipped and have lovely unspoiled sea views. Each cottage has two double en-suite units with sea-view patios and a self-catering unit consisting of a double en-suite room, living area (with additional beds), fully equipped kitchen and a sea-view patio.
