To all Sabie residents and visitors as well as those passing thru. .....operating hours over the Easter long weekend are as follows. Friday ,Saturday,Sunday and Monday we will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 9am to 9pm/ 8pm . On public holidays we close at 8pm . So whatever you are planning have fun and all children please look out for the Easter bunny. If he brings you chocolate eggs.......don't eat too much! 😋

We were so blessed to have Wendy Alberts visit us in Sabie. She was on a fact-finding tour of all the towns in Mpumalanga. Some positive feedback ,encouragement and understanding of the hospitality industry was welcome.
We chatted about covid, infrastructure and loadshedding as the generators rumbled around us......a 4 hour stretch!😡We could do with a cabinet of ministers of her calibre. Thank you for the award. Without our super efficient staff we wouldn't have pulled through the last few years. Thank you to the team!👏👏

We have celebrated Christmas and our dinner on Christmas eve 🎄🎉was enjoyed by all our guests. A big thank you to our staff who kept cool heads during the loadshedding and load reduction during the day and night. We are almost at the end of another year. Our operating hours for the last two weeks of the year will change and the restaurant will open at 9am and close at 9pm seven days of the week. We will however be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day. The staff at The Wild Fig Tree ,Karin and Gavin wish you all a Happy Xmas and everything of the best for 2023.Remember that if you don't want to cook on Christmas Eve we are planning a special menu for dinner.I have attached it here but we are only doing one sitting of 30 guests so please book by phoning 013 7642239 or visit the restaurant.

Yes despite loadshedding and other challenges , Christmas is here. We have been on leave so I am sharing our latest blackboard menu. We are closed on Christmas Day but I have included our special menu for Christmas Eve dinner. We will have one sitting of 30 guests that night. Dinner will be available from 6pm . Restaurant will close at 9pm.Children are welcome to choose something off our kiddies menu. We are thankful to have had a busy November. A few events we hosted........The exotic cars, the sports car club and a fundraiser for the Feral cats where the quilt was raffled.
