OFFICIAL APOLOGY STATEMENT - SALE OF COUNTERFEIT ALCOHOL
To Our Valued Customers and Community,
I wish to address an issue regarding the sale of counterfeit alcohol from our premises.
We have been made aware that some alcohol products sold at our store were found to be illicit. I want to sincerely apologize to all our customers for this.
This was *never intentional*. We purchased the stock from a supplier in good faith, believing it to be genuine and legitimate. At no point were we aware that the products were counterfeit.
The safety and trust of our customers is our number one priority. Selling illicit alcohol goes completely against our values and the standards we have worked hard to build.
*Actions we have taken:*
1. We have immediately removed all affected stock from our shelves.
2. We have stopped working with the supplier in question and reported the matter to the relevant authorities.
3. We are fully cooperating with inspections and investigations.
4. We are putting stricter checks in place to verify all stock going forward.
To any customer who purchased from us and has concerns, please come back to the store with your receipt and we will refund / replace where possible.
We humbly ask for your forgiveness and a second chance to make this right. We have learned a hard lesson from this.
