These beautiful little flowers are blooming right here around our restaurant, adding even more beauty to the already breathtaking landscape that surrounds us.

From the bright orange blooms scattered across the fields to the mountains in the distance, it’s a gentle reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things are found in the simplest moments. 🌸

WOMEN’S MONTH | Celebrating Susanne 🌸

Some women don’t just teach you a skill — they leave a mark on who you become. ❤️

This Women’s Month, we want to celebrate Susanne, a very special woman who played an incredibly important role in Ashlin’s journey in hospitality.

It was under Susanne’s guidance that Ashlin gained some of the most valuable hospitality experience — learning not only about serving guests and running a restaurant, but about the heart behind hospitality: making people feel welcome, cared for and at home.

And there is a beautiful little piece of that history hidden in our own name.

The “Eats” in Eats at Pathway 29:11 comes from Susanne and her restaurant, which was also called Eats.

So, when we chose our name, we were carrying a little piece of that journey forward with us. 🌿

Susanne, thank you for investing your time, knowledge and experience into Ashlin and for helping shape the hospitality professional he is today.

What you taught him became part of the foundation on which we built Eats at Pathway 29:11.

Sometimes we don’t realise how far the seeds we plant in someone’s life will grow.

But today, as we look at what we have built, we can see your influence woven into our story — even in our name. ❤️

What a Weekend to Remember! ✨

This weekend was nothing short of incredible! ❤️

We had the absolute privilege of being part of three very special celebrations — a beautiful 30th birthday, our Women’s Day Long Table, and, to our complete surprise, an engagement! 💍🥂

Our hearts are so full of gratitude. There is something incredibly special about being trusted with life’s precious moments — the birthdays, the friendships, the laughter, the milestones, and the “YES!” moments. 🥹❤️

To every person who chose Eats at Pathway 29:11 to be part of these special occasions, thank you. Thank you for allowing us to share in your joy and for filling our little space with so much love, laughter and beautiful memories.

We don’t take it for granted that you choose to celebrate with us. Every table tells a story, and this weekend, we got to witness some truly beautiful ones. ✨

WOMEN’S MONTH | Celebrating Mariska 🌸

Every dream starts somewhere.

For Mariska, it started with a vision, a whole lot of faith and the courage to take a leap into the unknown. ❤️

Mariska has poured her heart into creating more than just a restaurant. She dreamed of creating a place where people could slow down, share a meal, enjoy a good cup of coffee and feel welcome — a place built on faith, family and community. 🌿☕️

The journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges, uncertainty, long days and moments of wondering whether the dream would work.

But she kept going.

Because sometimes faith means taking the next step even when you can’t see the whole path ahead.

What started as an idea has become a little place that holds so many stories, friendships, meals, conversations and memories.

And behind it all is a woman who simply believed that something beautiful could grow from a small beginning. 🌱

This Women’s Month, we want to shine a little light on one of the incredible women who has been part of our journey from the very beginning. 💛

Meet our amazing Chef, Cathrine. 👩‍🍳Cathrine may not be the biggest fan of having her picture taken (which is why we had to get creative! 😉), but her work speaks for itself

From the very first day we opened the doors of Eats at Pathway 29:11, Cathrine has been there, working behind the scenes, putting love into every plate and helping us turn our little dream into a place where people can come together and feel at home.

We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, her hard work, her loyalty and everything she brings to our team. She has been part of our story from day one, and we honestly wouldn’t want to walk this journey without her. 🫶

WOMEN’S MONTH | Celebrating Janine 🌸

Some people come into your life for a moment… and end up becoming part of your story forever. 💛

This Women’s Month, we want to celebrate Janine, a very special woman who played an important role in the beginning of our journey.

We first met Janine while doing a tasting at Le Roux & Fourie. Little did we know that this meeting would eventually lead to something that would change our lives.

Janine introduced us to the owners of the property where Eats at Pathway 29:11 is now situated, and that introduction opened the door that made it possible for us to rent this space and turn our dream into a reality. 🌿

Looking back, it’s amazing to think how one simple connection, one introduction and one conversation can become such an important part of your journey.

Janine, we are so incredibly grateful for you and for the role you played in helping us get to where we are today. ❤️

Thank you for connecting us, for opening that door and for being one of the people who helped make our little dream possible.
