We invite you to join us for the exhibition opening evening of: Tussen Vlaktes / Between Planes.
This exhibition brings together Pretoria-based artists Martli Jansen van Rensburg and Magdel van Rooyen in a collaborative exploration of landscape, perspective and reflection.
Working across glass, sculpture and painting, the artists explore the vlakte as both a physical landscape and a symbolic space — a place of encounter, transition and possibility.
Through layers, fragments, shifting horizons and changing light, the exhibition invites us to consider what lies between certainty and uncertainty, loss and renewal, fragmentation
and wholeness.
Rather than offering answers, Tussen Vlaktes / Between Planes creates space for conversation, reflection and new ways of seeing.
