On Sunday we went to site to make a plan to get the feeder out of the enclosed cage.
When we got there, we were met with a terrified kitten inside the cage that kept slamming into the wiring so we backed away and just gave it time to figure out how to escape. The poor little mite took off into the grass.

I am happy to report that the feeder has been moved to a place under cover and about six cats found it immediately. I swear they were watching us move the feeder, clean out the new area and set everything up for them.

Thank you to Hettie for helping us sweep out the room as best as she could, and to Danie for helping us get the feeder out and moving it to the new area.
Now I truly hope that the feeder will be safe there as it is out of sight but we made sure the cats had escape routes if needed.
The two cats that were caught were from this base as well - cats I have never seen before and will probably never see again but at least they will never have to worry about fighting over a female or kittens ever again.
