About Us: At Green Valley Lodge, we pride ourselves on offering a distinctive and intimate lodging experience. Our lodge boasts 12 rooms, each meticulously designed and uniquely decorated to reflect the charm and character of the many different African countries and cultures.
We are situated in the quiet suburb of Wonderboom South, close to Hospitals, businesses, bus routes, Shopping Centres and places of interest.

Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and organized individual to join our team as a Guest House Frontline Personnel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities:
• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email promptly and professionally.
• Provide information about the guest house amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and lobby.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing reservations, and handling guest correspondence.
• Manage the booking platform and actively promote the Lodge on all the platforms, social media, etc
• Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic office software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Grade 12 or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management is a plus.

Room of the week is Provance! This is our Family room that sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children. This is a perfect room to book when traveling with your small family👨‍👩‍👧‍👧. The en-suite bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. Have a lovely weekend.
