Are You Looking for New Markets While Ignoring Existing Ones?

Many companies spend significant time searching for export opportunities and new markets.

Yet some of the biggest growth opportunities may already exist within their current customer base.

Consider the growing demand for:

• Instant porridges
• Breakfast cereals
• Multi-grain meals
• Children’s nutrition products
• Healthy snacks
• Fortified foods

These products are already being purchased every day by consumers, schools, institutions, retailers and food aid organisations across Africa.

The opportunity is not always about creating new demand.

Often, the opportunity lies in identifying unmet demand and supplying products that better address consumer needs.

Before searching for new markets, perhaps we should ask:
