Our Story

In the heart of Potchefstroom two restaurateurs Jaco Bosman and Maurice Wessels shared a brilliant vision. With their creative ideas and all there expertise in the food and beverage industry a new company was born, namely Fish@FineThings

Open from breakfast time, through until late; this place works just as well with a noon smoothie as with an evening cocktail. The kitchen is open on Mondays to Thursdays from 7:30 am - 10 pm, Fridays from 7:30 am till 10 pm, Saturdays from 8:30 am – 10 pm & Sundays from 9:00 am – 8 pm. The bar is open 7 days a week until late. The best news ever is that Happy Hour is 7 days a week, starting from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, where cocktails are 1/2 Price. We also have Cocktail evenings on Mondays and Saturdays where Happy Hour is ALL NIGHT LONG starting from 05:00 pm till 09:00 pm We also introducing Ladies Nights on Wednesdays and Thursdays where Cocktails are HALF PRICE ALL NIGHT for the ladies, starting at 07:00 pm till 09:00 pm. With over 60 different cocktails to choose from you sure have no reason to be bored with the mundane. Be daring try all of them at least once...just not on the same day! Added to this is our selection of great tasting meals to choose from and a great variety of seafood. One of our excellent signature cocktails; Pineapple Island, which packs a punch with its left-jab of fruit juice & rum. We have a diverse wine list and other signature cocktails include; Red Apple Martini, Chocolate Cookie Martini, Splash & Hazelnut Dream. It’s a sophisticated spot, attractively decorated and the atmosphere is chilled and fairly relaxed in the early evening, the service is efficient yet not without charm. There's live music on Friday evenings and the atmosphere here is generally one of laid-back cool; fashionable and friendly. Our restaurant caters for all cultures be it hallal or vegetarian. The fashionable, the hip, and the well-heeled all can be seen here in equal measure. The chief asset in the summer is the outside patio where you can sit back and watch the buzz of The Bult while sipping a smooth Cool Mojito and munching one of our signature dishes.
