🤍 A little bit about the woman behind Heavenly Treats…

Long before Heavenly Treats Cake Boutique became a business, there was simply a woman who loved being in the kitchen.

I've always had a love for baking — trying new recipes, experimenting with flavours, tweaking old favourites and wondering “what would happen if I tried this?” 😊

Then, in 2011, something very simple happened.

I baked a fruit cake as a Christmas gift.
That one cake led to an order… and then another… and before I knew it, something I had simply loved doing had started to grow into Heavenly Treats Cake Boutique. 🎂

What followed was a lot of learning.

A LOT. 😂

I spent countless hours learning the art of cake decorating — practising techniques, trying new things, learning from my mistakes and constantly pushing myself to create something a little better than the last cake.

There were plenty of cakes that didn't quite turn out the way I imagined them. There were techniques that took far longer to master than I expected.

And there were many moments of “I'll never be able to do that!”

But I kept going.

And somewhere along the way, the woman who simply loved baking became the cake decorator I am today. 🌸

And you know what?

I still love the experimenting part.

Give me a new recipe and I'll want to play with it. Give me a new flavour combination and I'll want to see if I can make it work. Give me a new decorating technique and I'll probably spend far too many hours trying to master it. 😂

Because for me, baking has never been just about following a recipe.

It's about creating. It's about learning. It's about taking simple ingredients and turning them into something beautiful.

And after all these years, that little love that started it all in 2011 is still very much alive.
