Hearts Cafe in Summerstrand will be powered by Col’s, and we are looking for the right people to join our team.
Positions available:
1. Barista
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s licence
• Minimum 2+ years barista experience
• Own transport is essential
• Must be available for day and night shifts
• Bar management experience is a plus
• Friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Casual Waiter and Bar Staff
Requirements:
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Friendly, energetic, and well-presented
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Able to work well under pressure in a busy café environment
3. Management Position
Requirements:
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Previous restaurant / café management experience
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Experience with daily café operations
• Good customer service and problem-solving ability
• Able to manage stock, cash-ups, ordering, staff supervision, and general operations
• Must be organized, hands-on, and able to lead from the front
• Own transport preferred
