Architecture is omnipresent. We encounter and interact with it daily. Architecture is intimate, visual, warm, inviting and all encompassing. That initial cheeky smile. The warm cosy blanket. Its about relationships. Relationships between landscape and structure as well as the structure and those that inhabit it. Architecture

in its utmost basic form is space divided. It is however the process that one follows to achieve the divided space that matters. Whether it's the juxtaposed master suite with panoramic views right on our doorstep or the 700 square meter industrial working kitchen in Zambia. Here we create architecture.

Our dynamic design office based in the small coastal town of Port Alfred offers so much more than just pen to paper. As Architecture molds the relationship between the landscape and the structure so we mold the relationship between our clients and their happy place.

Transforming an existing house into a dream sanctuary
House M in Boesmansriviermond. 🌊

This project is all about creating uninterrupted coastal living, and we are thrilled to announce that it is nearing completion and almost move-in ready for the warm December holidays!

We designed a substantial addition to the original dwelling to introduce a massive, open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that flows directly onto the outdoor entertainment zone.

Architectural Highlights:
The Float: A striking, large floating roof defines the outdoor space, providing all-weather protection over the braai and whirlpool bath area.
The Foundation: Robust and imposing new entrance structure that immediately elevates the home’s status and presence.
The Finish: Durable Balau timber decking and integrated planters at the entrance create a warm, inviting welcome and ground the new structure beautifully.

🌟 Nothing is impossible 🌟

A while ago, the Port Alfred Municipality and Sunshine Coast Tourism asked us to develop two visions for two iconic locations in our beautiful town — and today we’re excited to share how far you can go when you dare to dream.

✨ 1. The Port Alfred Market
At the first location, we saw the opportunity to transform an ordinary space into a lively, welcoming gathering place. Our proposal was a park where local vendors can come together, sell their food, and where visitors can relax in a green, inviting environment. A place where community, entrepreneurship, and nature all meet.

✨ 2. The Kelly’s Beach Parking Area
The second challenge was Kelly’s Beach. We proposed redeveloping the existing parking area and transforming the building on the eastern edge into a vibrant coastal centre — with space for lifesavers, integrated restrooms, and a cosy coffee shop. A design that brings both functionality and beauty back to one of our most loved beach destinations.

These were not just drawings — they were future dreams, visions of what can be achieved when we, as a community, think together, plan together, and believe together.

💡 And that’s exactly why our slogan fits so well here: Nothing is impossible.
With vision, collaboration, and a little imagination, any space can be brought to life.

Concept to Reality: ATS Bar & Social Area
We recently had the chance to bring a bold new bar concept to life for ATS at one of their international staff facilities.

Swipe through to see the original design renders and the final result, where both the custom bar and memory wall were fully brought to life!

Designed with adaptability in mind, the concept uses accessible materials like timber to ensure it can be rolled out across multiple locations. The layout focuses on three key areas: a welcoming bar, a relaxed seating zone, and a memory wall behind the pool table that adds warmth, character, and a sense of identity to the space.

ATS provides kitchen and bar facilities to teams around the world, and it was a pleasure to contribute to a design that’s both practical and personal.
