Slops is turning up the volume for Afterglow on Main on 25 September, as we team up with the Plett Arts Festival for an Art of Music night that keeps the festival energy going long after the sun goes down 😎

DJ Butters and Mad Monks will be taking over the decks in our downstairs bar from 18:00 until midnight, so grab your crew, come for a drink and stay for the dance floor.

Six hours. Two DJs. One downstairs bar. Plenty of reasons not to make early plans for the morning.

Whiskey for Tea are becoming familiar faces around Slops, and we’re certainly not complaining 🎶

They’re back this Friday, 18 September from 18:30, bringing another evening of live music, good vibes and the perfect excuse to settle in with your crew for dinner and a few drinks.

Entry is free, but these evenings have a habit of filling up, so table bookings are highly recommended.

Taste your way from the refreshing Clifton Rosé, through Whalehaven Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, before moving onto Idiom Semillon, Cape Red and Sangiovese.

This Thursday evening, 10 September from 18:00, we’re opening a few bottles from two small-batch, family-run farms as Lozärn Wines and De Meye join us at Slops for a complimentary wine tasting 🍷

Come taste your way through a selection of Rosé, Muscat Blanc, Chenin, Shiraz and a seriously tasty Red Blend, while discovering a little more about the people and passion behind each bottle.

You don’t need to know your tannins from your terroir, this isn’t a wine exam. Just bring some good energy, grab a glass and enjoy 😉

Join us on Thursday, 27 August from 18:00 as we pour a little taste of Stellenbosch with a complimentary wine tasting featuring Le Chant and Pink Valley Wines 🍷

We’ll be tasting our way through the characterful wines of Le Chant, where French winemaking influence meets Stellenbosch terroir, alongside Pink Valley and their speciality Rosé, crisp, refreshing and very easy to enjoy.
