An exotically African river lodge, restaurant and function venue overlooking the Bitou River in Plettenberg Bay where luxury and peace are found in a sweeping river valley. Emily Moon River Lodge is owned by Mark and Christine Valentine. The hotel is filled with the treasures they have collected from their travels all over Africa, Asia and Polynesia. Most of their rare finds are destined for Amatuli Artefacts, their eclectic trading store in Johannesburg but some find a home at the Emily Moon River Lodge. This luxurious boutique hotel is managed by Alex Olivier, who maintain the impeccable standards and the warm, welcoming ambience that attracts visitors from all over the world. The love between Harry Mallard and Emily Moon touches all who visit Emily Moon River Lodge today. Legend has it that Harry built this magical place for his love and waits for her still.
