Specialising in customised products for retailers, wholesalers, gift suppliers etc. FruitLips is a fruit manufacturing company, that manufactures bespoke jams, marmalades, chutneys and fruit in syrup. FruitLips is located on the Achtervlei Farm, situated on the breath taking mountains of Piket-Bo-Berg, 150 kilometers from Cape Town. We use the Freshest Ingredients to make high quality, hand made, environmentally friendly products.

Did someone say nachos? Yes.

And not just any nachos - Spicy Plum Chicken Nachos. If you are looking for the ultimate winter comfort food, this is guaranteed to hit the spot. The secret? Our handcrafted FruitLips Spicy Plum Braai Sauce, which turns ordinary chicken into sticky, sweet and spicy perfection!

Save this recipe for a rainy day:

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 180°C on the grill setting and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.
Step 2: In a large pressure cooker, combine 200g of FruitLips Spicy Plum Braai Sauce and your chicken breasts. Close the lid and cook for 30 mins. Remove from the pot and shred the chicken.
Step 3: Add the shredded chicken back into the pot with the remaining plum braai sauce. Let it simmer for 1-2 mins until wonderfully sticky and coated.
Step 4: On your baking sheet, add a layer of nacho chips. Top evenly with the shredded chicken, sliced peppers, charred corn, and grated cheese. Repeat again for a glorious second layer!
Step 5: Bake for 5-10 mins, until the cheese is beautifully melted and has a golden-brown colour.
Step 6: Garnish with fresh wild rocket and serve warm with a generous dollop of guacamole and sour cream on the side.
