As the year is coming to an end, we take note that almost all schools will have end-year functions. Mo Africa Restaurant embrace the celebration of end year functions from various schools, as we have hosted a few functions before supervised by educators.
However, we would like to put it clear, that there are certain end year functions that we won’t be able to host such as “Pens Down” “Dawn to Dawn”. These are events that runs from 6 to 6.
We have noted from all over the country the mayhem that comes with such events, where school kids are exposed to alcohol and other drugging substances, and our precautionary measures are not to host such events at all, where there is no presence of educators for any supervision.
We take note that such events are organised by Grade 12 learners independently from schools, however, in many instances learners of lower grades tends to find their way into such venues, and be exposed to the above substances (Alcohol and other drugging substances)
Mo Africa Restaurant subscribe to responsible drinking of alcohol, and prohibition of exposing alcohol to juveniles, particularly to school kids.
