Karoo Ale Craft Beer Waterkloof Brewery outside Philippolis in the southern Freestate has taken beer brewing to the next level.!!

The Karoo region presents images of wholesomeness, windmills, sheepfarms and hospitality.The region is famous for its lamb with the distinct taste and texture.The Lamb's character is derived from the veldt it grazes on. Indigenous Karoo veldt vegetation like rivier ganna, silwer karoo, skaapbossie, kapokbossie, perdebos en ankerkaroo. We are passionate about real and unique experiences.......and t

o add to the idea of getting the real thing, we decided to brew a beer adding some of these shrubs for that great Karoo taste.Sip, sit back and enjoy a taste of the true Karoo.!
