Hercules Pizza Parys are looking for a dedicated, friendly and motivated Cashier.
❗Responsibilities:
• Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Assist customers in placing their orders and provide recommendations as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or concerns promptly.
• Cash Handling:
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Handle cash transactions with integrity and in compliance with company policies.
• Order Processing
- Accurately input customer orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Confirm order details and provide customers with order summaries.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Maintaining Cleanliness
- Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
- Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and sanitation in the customer service area.
• Menu Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the menu, including ingredients and special offerings.
- Provide information to customers regarding menu items, promotions, and specials.
• Multi-Tasking:
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, processing payments, and addressing customer inquiries.
• Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate and assist with the rest of the staff, delivery drivers, and other team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to enhance overall teamwork.
❗Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must speak fluent Afrikaans and English, if not, please don't apply.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferably no dependents
