Absolutely UN-BEE-LIEVABLE scenes here at Rawdons!

We had a hive of bee;s make their home in a wall at the hotel. After contacting the team from Bushveld Bees, they came and assisted in the safe removal and rehoming of around 8-10kg's of bees, including their queen!

You can hear the amazing buzz coming from the crate as they were getting ready to head to their new home.

What a true Rugby legend!

This weekend we were fortunate to have Richard Seidle from the London House Rugby Team from 1961-1962

Together with his team, they played in France during the Puteaux Journees Sportives Europaennes Sports Festival in the summer of 1962.

With 12 South Africans in the team representing Great Britain of which 5 were from Michaelhouse Old Boys' Club.

What a wealth of knowledge and such a gentleman! We loved having you over!
