Traditional melkkos, banana bread, kondensmelk koffie and our braaibroodjie - served as the classic favourite at Paarl branch and with a flatbread twist at Allée Bleue.

It still feels a little surreal to say it… Lounah Café officially has two homes👀✨

Mia is back at our Paarl café at 501 Main Road, where summer is starting to settle into the garden - the fountain running, birds chirping and plenty of sunny spots to sit and stay a while.

And there’s lots coming up:
Freshly baked bread on weekends, Mimosa Fridays & Saturdays, and a brand-new summer menu launching soon.

Grab a table inside, out front or tucked away in the garden, then take a little walk through our dessert room to find something sweet.

Summer at Lounah is looking good.

A new chapter for Lounah begins today🫶

Our doors are officially open at Allée Bleue, and we’re so excited to begin this new adventure alongside their incredible team.

Our trading hours are the same as our Paarl café:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
Saturday: 08:00 - 15:00
Sunday: Closed

Our kitchen closes one hour before closing time.

There’s parking inside the estate, Wi-Fi and plenty of good food waiting for you. Come settle in and meet our lovely team.

A new era for Lounah Café 🤍

Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate the beginning of something incredibly special - our brand new branch at Allée Bleue in Franschhoek.

For Anelma and the Strive Capital team, Lounah has always been about more than just incredible food. It’s about creating a space where people feel at home, where service feels genuine, and where you can simply sit, stay a little longer and enjoy.

And we can already picture those summer afternoons under the trees, good food on the table and a glass of wine in hand.

We’re incredibly proud of everything that has gone into bringing this space to life, and even more excited for what’s ahead.

One last taste of winter at Lounah Café in Paarl. Join us for The Last Harvest on 26 August at 18:00 - an intimate evening built around comforting seasonal food, good company and the cosy Lounah Café atmosphere.

Your evening includes a Mulled Apple & Pear Fizz on arrival, harvest bowls to share, followed by Springbok Pot Pie with truffled mash, and a warm citrus pudding to finish.

To all our new followers, Hello 👋 we opening a new Lounah Café branch at Allée Bleue Estate, Franschhoek on 2 September 2026 - and Chef Anna is already prepping and making magic.

Chef Anna be helping lead the kitchen and curate our new menu, bringing together Lounah favourites with the incredible produce, herbs, preserves and wines from Allée Bleue.
