A first for our new look! ☕️

Petra from Pretoria picked up the very first bag of coffee in our new Mpenjati packaging - and we couldn't have asked for a lovelier moment to share.

Thank you, Petra, for taking a little piece of Mpenjati home with you. We hope every cup brings back happy memories of your visit!

Our newly branded coffee bags are now available in store. Come have a look next time you're passing by 🌿

Mpenjati Coffee ☕️🌿

Good things taste better together. 🤎

From a coffee made with a little extra love, to a proper burger, our baristas doing what they do best, and a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the garden — these are the little things that make Mpenjati, Mpenjati.

Come find your favourite table, slow down for a while and enjoy a little Mpenjati time. ☕️🌿

New faces, a warm welcome, and a new chapter for Mpenjati Coffee 🤎

We thought it was time to introduce ourselves! We’re Roelof, Vanessa, Erich, Lara, Ruan, Matt and Luca—the family behind Mpenjati Coffee’s new chapter.

Thank you to Des and Leigh for all they’ve poured into Mpenjati, and to everyone who has welcomed and supported us as we find our feet.

Our hope is simple: to make Mpenjati a place where good coffee brings people together, conversations linger, and neighbours become friends.

We’re adding our own touches along the way, and we look forward to sharing this next chapter with you.

Pop in for a coffee and come say hello—we’d love to meet you!

Many of you have been asking, “Has Mpenjati Coffee been sold?”

Yes—Mpenjati Coffee is now under new ownership, and a beautiful new chapter is beginning. ☕️🤎

While our branding and space are taking shape, the heart of Mpenjati remains: freshly roasted coffee, warm hospitality and a place where people can gather, connect and feel at home.

There is so much we are excited to share with you.

Same heart. Fresh vision. A new chapter is brewing.

Watch this space… 🌿
