We thank everyone for their contribution over the years. Your support helped us achieve every kind of success a restaurant can expect. We held position number ONE out of 79 restaurants in Western Cape Province of South Africa
for several years and received Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for three years running. Most of all, having enjoyed 76 glorious years in the company of wonderful friends, working, playing, getting involved in charity work and traveling all over the world, Kamal and I decided to close the restaurant and retire. We kindly request that no further notifications be posted on Punjabi Kitchen page. Your co-operation will be most appreciated.

Vow!!! Punjabi Kitchen gets Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor for third year running. Thanks to all patrons who sent excellent reviews about our food, service and premises. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Having reached age 76, I decided to retire and Punjabi Kitchen has now ceased trading,

We would like to thank all those who have liked Punjabi Kitchen. We are so busy preparing for the coming season, that I have not been able to write to you individually. Please accept sincere thanks from all members of Punjabi Kitchen and keep on adding your likes.Punjabi Kitchen is the only restaurant in Mossel Bay that makes prawn and fish curries which are getting very popular.

Some customers came and had their meal at Punjabi Kitchen last week. Quite unknown to us, one of the party was the Test Kitchen ex chef Ivor Jones, better known as a top Chef of South Africa. When I checked our Visitor's comments book, I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased to read his comments as follows:
"The best butter chicken I ever had."

A member of the South African Ladies Cricket Team had lunch at Punjabi Kitchen a few weeks ago and said she loved the food. She wanted to remain anonymous as she is moving to join Australian Ladies Team. Since them we have had several other celebrities visit us.

I have heard an informal whisper that we are the only restaurant in Mossel Bay to have got Certificate of Excellent for Restaurant of 2016. If that is true, then that is a great news. We are waiting for our Certificate and flag to arrive.

This gentleman wrote in our guest book, " Great Indian taste, like mother's cooking." Another comment states,"After India, first time best Indian food." Punjabi Kitchen popularity is increasing and I just hope we can continue to keep up the standard. Thanks to all our patrons.
