On Friday, 9 October 2026, we had the pleasure of officially re-opening Bridge #5, following a complete rebuild after the flood damage of November 2025.

The ceremony was officiated by Jack Radford, Director of Golf, who was joined by Board members Jan Barwise, Gerald Bouwer and Alwyn Fasen. Avid golf member Alan Kingham also joined in the festivities.

Ben and Michael from Woodtec Contractors were thanked for the quality of their workmanship and for delivering the project on time and within budget.

Golfers can once again play Hole #5 as the course was designed.

*Rebuilding Koro Creek after the floods*
This is the third milestone in restoring the estate’s infrastructure after the devastating floods of November 2025, following the rebuilding of:
• the Dam Wall and Golf Cart Bridge at Dam #12, and
• the Golf Cart Bridge at Bridge #1.

We look forward to the next milestone: the completion of the dam wall and golf cart bridge at Dam #7, expected at the end of October.
