Starting this weekend, we’ll be open Saturdays only. Why? Because we’re committed to serving meat that’s always fresh from the smoker—never stored, never frozen. That’s the standard we’ve set for ourselves.

Back by very popular demand! We’re extremely proud (and grateful) to have been sold out two weeks in a row on ribs—thank you! Come early to make sure you get your share of our juicy, fall-off-the-bone short ribs before they’re gone again!

📅 Saturday, 31 May 2025 – Beef Brisket (with all the sides, of course)
A smokehouse isn’t truly Texas unless it can deliver that tender, smoky, perfectly “flippy” brisket. This weekend, we’re focusing completely on nailing that authentic Texas-style brisket experience.

Yeah!! Great day for Midrand BBQ Smokehouse. Thanks to our wonderful host, the Noordwyk Country Club. We sold out on beef short ribs (16kg sold). We are left with 50% Brisket ( 6kg sold).. We still have enough pulled pork, and a few Pork-Cheese sausages.

We will be closed on Sunday..likely to sell out tommorrow. If you are coming from far, please call first.

We cannot even begin to describe the gratitude towards everyone who took effort to visit us. Thanks especially to Ansie de Swardt for coming through and having a sit-in. My appreciation for your love and friendship cannot be measured 🙏🏿.

Our brisket was delivered fresh and we trimmed it last night.
Now it’s being seasoned alongside pork shoulder and beef short ribs, ready to hit the smoker at 18:00 sharp. Low and slow ‘til 09:00, then we rest and serve at 12:30.

This is our sixth week, and every week we aim to make it better—more flavour, more tenderness.

We’ve come a long way from where we started.
