If you hear this song playing, those “late nights in the middle of June” could not be more accurate.

Designing this new packaging has been one of the most daunting, exhausting tasks I’ve faced. 30+ design revisions and a 2-month delay nearly broke me.

There were moments of pure exhaustion.
But what started as a survival mechanism during a tough season has become a total game-changer. The frozen range was created so you could always enjoy The Vegan Chef at home—and it’s finally back with a beautifully upgraded new look! 🔥 Same comfort, same flavor.

Here is exactly how I get that flawless, bakery-level shine on my pastry using a simple plant-based swap!

Today I’m prepping some delicious plant-based butter Chickn pies. To get that perfect golden color, I just brush the top with a mix of:
🌾 Oat milk
🍁 A few drops of maple or golden syrup
It gives the pastry an incredible color and texture without any egg wash needed. Pop them in the air fryer, pair with a big salad, and you have the perfect hearty meal.
