There is a school with a BIG heart on the outskits of our little village and they NEED OUR HELP!
Buffelskloof Skool is a loving environment for underprivileged children in our community, aged 5-12 years. Each morning, these children arrive at school where they’re greeted with warm, soapy water to wash their hands and faces. They have their own toothbrushes and each receive a healthy meal—often the only one they’ll have all day.
I recently visited this wonderful school, nestled on a farm just outside McGregor. The children were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their joy and self-pride shone out of their little faces like sunbeams.
But here’s the challenge: they no longer have a working school bus. As a result, one dedicated teacher is personally picking up as many children as possible, while others must walk over 3 kilometers to attend school. They’re trying to raise funds for a second-hand mini-bus, which is vital to keeping the school open. Without it, many of these children may have to drop out, and the school would be forced to close.
