Our land.

Our seeds.
Our knowledge.
Our stories.
Our traditions.

The skills and wisdom of those who came before us.
So often, we look beyond ourselves for what is valuable, while the very things that can sustain us, connect us to who we are, and tell our story are already ours.

At Setšong, this is the work we are passionate about — remembering what our parents and grandparents knew, valuing it, preserving it, and finding ways to create economic value from it.

This Heritage Month, we invite you to gather around the table and experience that inheritance through tea, food, culture, stories and knowledge.

Sometimes we forget just how much we have. How great we are.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate The Treasure in Our Hands.

🍲 The food we grew up eating.
📚The stories we grew up hearing.
🤗The knowledge passed down from one generation to the next.
🌱The land and the hands that came before us.

Therein lies our power.

A reminder that so much of what we need is already within us.

We’ll be spending the day with the beautiful mother-and-daughter duo, Mme Nondu, Retang and Village Elders from Setšong Tea Crafters exploring our own Bapedi Teas and creating our own tea blends to take home.

And of course, there will be a generous farm lunch - good food, good conversation and time around the table. 🥗

What a beautiful day at the 2026 SPAR Women’s Challenge Tshwane Challenge! 💚🍃

There is something special about thousands of women coming together to celebrate health, strength, and community—and we were honoured to be part of it.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Setšong Tea Crafters stand to discover the wellness of our indigenous teas, share your stories, and enjoy a cup with us. Every conversation reminded us why preserving and sharing Africa’s botanical heritage matters.

From energising pre-race moments to well-deserved post-race recovery, it was a joy to introduce more people to the goodness of Tepane Black Bush Tea and our Diya Red Root Tea range.

To every participant, supporter, volunteer, and organiser—thank you for making the day unforgettable. Here’s to choosing wellness, celebrating women, and building healthier communities together.
