We are excited to be featuring Stray Candy for their first ever MINT appearance!

"StrayCandy, the sibling duo of Candice and Ryan Holmes, grew up steeped in the rich world of musical theatre. Candice always had a penchant for performance and vocals. Ryan, displayed a natural talent for instruments. They spent countless hours harmonizing with each other, developing a unique sound that would become their hallmark.

Both Candice and Ryan were determined to pursue their musical dreams. Candice coined the name StrayCandy to reflect their eclectic musical tastes, which spanned Broadway show tunes, jazz, rock, country, and blues. This name allowed them to venture into various genres, a versatility that became their signature style.

While StrayCandy excels in various genres, their heart belongs to modern country music. They cherish country songs that celebrate life’s joys rather than focusing on the melancholic themes often associated with the genre. Their harmonies shine brightest in country music, a genre that perfectly complements their vocal strengths.

The release of their debut single, "We're not done for yet," marks a significant milestone in StrayCandy's journey. This uplifting anthem about resilience and perseverance tells the story of a couple navigating life's challenges while holding on to hope. The song's broader message encourages listeners to remember the good times and never give up, resonating with anyone who has faced adversity.

Candice and Ryan Holmes are excited to share their music with a wider audience, confident that their unique blend of harmonies and genre versatility will continue to captivate listeners.

We are excited to be featuring Eleazar Strachan and Hannah Foster in their first ever MINT appearances!

Hannah Foster is a formidably talented Singer, Songwriter and Performer with over 15 years experience to her credit. Hannah blends various styles seamlessly, offering audiences a tasty mix of groove, soul, pop, jazz and blues. Her songwriting skills are exhibited in her debut EP “Ode To Time” and her single release of “Behind The Light.” Hannah is also a prolific session artist lending her voice to various brands including her latest collaboration with SKOON skincare as well as a collaboration with Diana Nielle and Producer Proto Sapien for the original credits track highly acclaimed “Influence” documentary which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and was released to the South African public in August 2020. Hannah is also the founder of Unique Voice Music Academy and Vula Creative Collective, both of which campaigning in the support of developing creative sanctuary spaces in Johannesburg.

Bevan David is an accomplished musician with songs hitting the top 2 on the 5FM top 40 (The bad days are all gone,) and being performed on The Voice SA by finalise Clemour (All Over). He also owns and runs Get Good Fast, a music instrument tuition school which has seen hundreds of students getting educated on drums, piano and guitar for the past 25 years.
