It's good to be blessed. It's better to be a blessing.

Today was a special day. What started as a dream became a reality, and it is with huge thanks to everyone of you that contributed towards a great cause.

Thank you to Roy and Karin, for starting the backabuddy campaign and getting the ball rolling.

A massive thank you to JURA South Africa for all your assistance and generosity in helping us get the best machine possible, not only for the patients and their families but also for the incredible medical team that give so much of themselves to each patient at Cancercare South Africa Vredenburg West Coast branch.

A huge thank you to this amazing Saldanha Bay Municipality team from all of us at Weskus Coffee Roastery.

Whilst we enjoy the comfort of our homes, these are the helpful, miracle working human beings that keep our town looking good and everything running smoothly. Thank you to Waldo and his team for always going the extra mile.

To all our loyal Weskus Coffee Roastery followers and coffee loving fans, we need your help.

As most of you know, our chief bean counter was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago and is still on a journey and receiving treatment. It is with huge thanks to the amazing team at our Vredenburg, Cancercare South Africa oncology unit. Their passion, love, care and excellence has made this journey so smooth and achievable.

We received a phone call asking if we can assist in making a dream come true that will make a huge difference for those that need it most.

As a gesture of appreciation, one of the patients currently receiving treatment would love to bless this incredible team, with a bean to cup coffee machine. Not only will this enable the team to enjoy a good cup of coffee, but both the patients that sit for hours whilst having their treatment administered and their loved ones that accompany and wait for them will enjoy it too.

There is currently a backabuddy campaign running, but we are hoping to reach more than the current goal. We would love to be able to bless them with the best JURA bean to cup machine, because they deserve it.

This is not just another Dr's room, this chemo room is a place that some call home, others find hope and a place where an awesome bunch of humans pour out their passion and hearts daily to make a difference where they can.

Any donations will be appreciated, and we will make sure that they are well stocked with beans to keep them going.
