"O Pescador" , translated to English means "the Portuguese fishermen", who would go out to sea on a daily basis, come sun-shine or rain, determined to bring fresh seafood to their market squares, to feed their neighbours and to provide for their families. In 1985 O pescador restaurant opened it's doors, along with it's heart, to the quaint coastal town of Knysna, bringing forth a sense of tradiona

l food, family and friendships. Our team of professionally trained chefs take pride in personally preparing the best South African Portuguese cuisine, everything from seafood to soups to sauces made from scratch, sourced locally to tantalise your taste buds. All our dishes have a feel of warmth and are filled with a variety of unique flavours, textures and spices. Situated upstairs in the waterfront, with spectacular views of the quay harbour and green surrounds, we are regarded as one of Knysna's premier restaurants, frequented by both locals and foreigners.
