Three days to Karoo to Coast!
This Sunday, riders will set off from Uniondale for 89.28 km of demanding terrain on the revised 2026 Karoo to Coast route.

Ahead of them: 1,587 metres of climbing, Prince Alfred’s Pass, Kom se Pad and a highest point of approximately 1,180 metres. Die Poort replaces the traditional WaPad section this year, adding a new test before the race finishes at Knysna High School.

It will take strong legs, careful pacing and plenty of determination to reach that finish line.

To every rider taking on the challenge: trust your training, ride safely and give it everything you have. Knysna is ready for you!

We’ve expanded the deck at our Pool Sky Club, creating more space to soak up the sun, enjoy a cocktail and take in those beautiful views of the Knysna Lagoon.

Karoo to Coast is coming up next weekend.

Joining us at Pezula Nature Retreat for race weekend? Enjoy a carb-loading dinner at Zachary’s before the ride, with bicycle storage, a wash station and our Tackle Room available for your gear. We can also arrange transfers to the starting line in Uniondale.

After the finish, resident guests taking part in the race can enjoy a complimentary post-race recovery massage.

Introducing your Celebrity Host, Warren Brosnihan

From the rugby field to the commentary box, Warren Brosnihan has long been a familiar name in South African sport. Known for his sharp sporting insight, quick wit and easy-going personality, Warren joins us at Pezula Nature Retreat as Celebrity Host for this year’s Golf Classic.

He’ll be part of the weekend both on and off the course, bringing plenty of sporting conversation, a little friendly rivalry and good company to the mix.

September marks the start of spring in South Africa and across the Cape, it’s a time when many of our remarkable fynbos species come into flower.

Part of one of the world’s richest plant kingdoms, fynbos is one of the natural signatures of this part of the country and a beautiful reminder of what surrounds us here in Knysna.
