Hi All. I know everyone has been wondering what is happening with La PizzaPazza. We have found a venue however we await rezoning from Municipality for us to operate within the bylaws otherwise the landlord will get fined. Once received will let you know when we will be up and running.

Morning all. After our recent post, we had so many positive comments. Its so refreshing to know we have such a great brand that most of you would follow us to Waterfall. It looks like we will be staying in Kloof. The Old Piggly Wiggly also known as the Robyndale Centre may be our new home.

Hi All. What a bumpy journey it has been. We have been trying to find space to reopen our business with no luck.
We know we have a great brand and our hopes of staying in kloof have been very hard to maintain. So the chances of reopening are very slim at this moment in time.

I never thought I'd reach a point in my career where I'd have to explain myself about my business. For those that think it's fine to sit around your braais or over drinks and discuss the burning down of my restaurant and make conversation of things you have no facts about is not only unethical but damages the reputation.

We managed to survive covid closures,barely it was hard enough trying to pay salaries and suppliers and sometimes not breaking even. But with the help of a government grant on its way, there was a new found hope. Having your 13year old son come home frantic that some kid at school asked why your mom burnt down her own restaurant is heart breaking.

I could take the insurance money cut my losses and start a new life but we will be reopening. I have 18 families that depend on me. It's a pity we don't talk about the restaurant owners that create covid funds and never pay that money over to their staff. The restaurant owners that treat their staff like crap, they don't even pay an hourly wage but we praise them for being great business people.

So let me be clear. I did not burn my restaurant down! So when you open your mouth to spread a malicious rumor think of the following:
The fire that burnt the shop was actually a third attempt of burning the shop down.
It's costs us more moving out than it has in actually being opened.
I have staff at home hungry because there is no income to pay them.

So stop and think before you speak. Thank you so much for the people that continue to support us. We appreciate it and God bless!

To all customers and supporters thank you for the donations. We managed raise R2400 for the month of August. All 6kitchen staff received R400 each. We urge you to continue to help. We will be reopening soon. We miss you all!

Today we got a chance to go into the shop and clear out food that can still be utilised. With such short notice I called Kyle from Highway Bakkie & Car Hire who sent a vehicle to collect items for the kloof old age home. Kyle thank you to you and your team!
