The Forest Forge Inspired by the forest and forged by fire, The Forest Forge is built on a simple belief: great food starts with quality ingredients and craftsmanship.

Our wood-fired pizzas, handcrafted burgers and homemade sauces are made to order and forged by hand. We are a family run restaurant that endeavors to support local as much as possible. We opened the Smokehouse in Durban in November 2020 during Covid after losing everything. In July 2022 we made the move to Nelspruit and started the process of opening the Smokehouse there. Our doors opened on 3 Dec

ember 2022, and we don't regret it. We are one of 4 Smokehouses in the country but the only one who specializes in what we do. We cater to meat eaters and Vegans alike. We take pride in all that we do, and everything is made from scratch. Please be advised that we are not a fast-food outlet, we are a low & slow dining establishment and great food takes time to prepare. If possible, please try and make a reservation especially on a Saturday and a Sunday. We are able to do private functions like kid's birthday parties, kitchen teas, baby showers, bulls parties as well as corporate functions. The possibilities are endless.
