A bouquet for Mandy’s Kitchen
Posted in Kleinmond News …on March 2, 2012
On Sunday afternoon, we decided to order pizza take-aways from Mandy’s Kitchen but did not have a copy of their menu so we went down to the restaurant to place our order. My daughter, my great grandson and I waited in the car while my grand-daughter went inside to fetch a menu.
While we were going through the menu, a gentleman from the restaurant walked over to the car and asked whether we didn’t want to rather come inside to which I replied that we were in a hurry and also that we had a burst water pipe at home and we were without water so I needed to get to a shop where I could buy water.
His response and actions were amazing as he said we could get as much water from the restaurant as we needed and in no time, he had filled two 20 litre drums with water and carried them to the boot of our car. His wife Mandy, also came over to the car to let us know they were busy organising water for us to take home.
To James (Mandy’s husband) and Mandy, I wish to say the pizzas were delicious and thank you for your kindness and caring.
I will certainly support their restaurant in future and hope that others in Kleinmond will do so too – they deserve to succeed!
