For over 11 years, The Grand Exhibition (TGE), founded by Lady Magnolia Burlesque Artist of The Rouge R***e Burlesque Company in Cape Town, has brought the burlesque community together to raise funds for worthy causes.

This year, Vintage Nouveau Burlesque is honoured to present The Grand Exhibition Johannesburg, with proceeds supporting TEARS Foundation and HALO (Healthy Active Lifestyle Organisation).

Yesterday marked the first of our gin pairing events with the Witches Brew Magic Stone Gin.

Welcoming:
The Witches Brew Magic Stone gin with our ciabbatta bread service which includes a simple Dukkah, Kalahari and black dipping salts.

First course: The Witches Brew Bloody Belladonna gin paired with a rustic villge spicy gazpacho and a biltong ravioli with a cream cheese and racotta filling.

Second course: The Witches Brew Autumn balance gin paired with an apple & pear camomile salad with a camomile and elderflower infused dressing.

Third course: The Witches Brew Rosemary Brite gin paired with a crisp roasted rosemary pork belly, with candy mandarins, herbed mash and asparagus.

Fourth course: The Witches Brew Fire Horse 2026 gin paired with a five spice and cinnamon apple tart infused with Grand Marnier and served with a dark chocolate sauce.
